- David Do, a Canadian pharmacist, has been identified as being a major figure behind Mr Deepfakes, with Bellingcat identifying an online footprint going back years, connecting multiple online personas to David Do
- As has been reported by various outlets this week, Mr Deepfake announced it would be shutting down. There's been speculation about why that happened, but given it occurred soon after Do was approached for comment, it seems related to our investigation www.npr.org/2025/05/06/n...
