But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service. “Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

- This in vitro experiment has been haunting me for the past 2 years: from cloning (which was abnormally tricky and thus annoying), to lenti production, to transduction in a relevant cell type, to now building the R pipeline for bulk RNA analysis... Dare I say, it may have all been worth it
