- When I met my husband, he was super intimidated by baking and specifically by bread. He had tried a recipe and it had failed spectacularly. I asked him about his yeast, and he just looked at me. I told him, it was probably a bad batch of yeast and explained how I kept mine. 1/
- Yep, my great-grandfather (my Grampie) on my mother's side was alive until I was 5. He used to smoke a pipe. I would sit in his lap and he and I would read the newspaper together. He was soft spoken and gentle with us. His wife (my Nanny), lived until my last year of high school.
- So, I have looked at my pantry and fridge and thought, "what can I make?" And then made something, but I have been cooking since I was 9 and working in professional kitchens at 15. Please, just teach people to cook...
