- Another client just called, asking "real quick before you go, I know you're getting ready to leave down, do I unplug my computer in a storm? and how to I empty the trash in my email?" She has been my client for 23 years, and she is a retired teacher, and a retired learner too, I think sometimes.
- I can hear it in her voice. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Well, someone hacked our IP, and we've got all these problems with our—" "Hmmm. How did it start?" "Well, his computer got locked, and he called Microsof—" "No, he didn't."
- I sent an email out to all my clients to let them know I'd be going out of town, and to give them advice (once again, as I periodically do) on how not to get scammed; I haven't even left town yet and two of them have gotten scammed. smh.
