- Last night, I watched the haunting “I’m Still Here”, a 2024 Brazilian movie about forced disappearances of dissidents during the 1970s military dictatorship. I was struck by this piece of dialog. Eunice, a woman whose husband was taken, has been fighting to get the government to admit he was dead:
