- I know I’m beating a dead horse on this lately, but pundits and consultants who argue for this stuff are actually just arguing that politicians should cater to the views that *they* hold, which they believe are uniquely reasonable and universal. Actual swing voters have mostly incoherent politics!

- They use the term median because it’s a single data point, namely, them. They sit somewhere between fascism and not fascism and believe that’s the norm when anyone who’s worked trying to aggregate large datasets will tell you that it’s a lot of fusing wildly disparate data.May 13, 2025 19:03
