- If this happens it'll end the GOP and probably sink several red states into a budget quagmire that will drown them. So yeah I fully expect them to jam this firecracker right up their pee holes and light it.
- Despite all the infighting, political risk, and human cost, I think Republicans might still pull it together and torpedo Medicaid. Democrats actually know how to oppose attacks on the safety net pretty well, but there are contingencies they haven't prepared for, detailed here.
