- There’s nothing “blasphemous” about Trump’s post. As a Catholic, I’m not “offended”. The Pope isn’t God, and Catholics make Pope jokes all the time. The problem is an American political system that has collapsed into a “look at me!” carnival that sees trolling as leadership.
