- It is never a good idea to ban regulation for a decade, particularly for technologies that are changing so rapidly, opaque to most of us, have the potential to do incredible harm, and are a potential moneymaker that explains the desire for lack of regulation ... [So much for state's rights .... 🙄]

- I'm staying in the medical center area of Houston for a week. It is truly its own city - it must be the largest in the world. And as I continue to benefit from life-saving treatments developed through decades of scientific research, I'm heartbroken to think about what is being destroyed.

- It is truly wild how Houston is without a doubt the most horrible and dangerous place I've ever had the misfortune of driving, and the land use is mostly awful, but is also one of the best places you'd ever want to be if you are dealing with a major illness or disease.

- that's so cool! all my specialists for this pituitary stuff are with BCM, they have been amazing, and I am feeling so grateful that I was referred here.
- There are so many medical facilities here of various organizations, but University of Texas (UT) Health, Baylor College of Medicine, UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and University of Houston are all massive, and tied to universities. Literally millions of lives saved and improved through science.
