If a huge percentage of folks don't have a $1000 bucks for an emergency, 'materialism' can NOT be the problem. Shift the blame back on to the Politicians who continue to bend the tax code in favor of the folks who have an extra million or two to donate to those same Politicians. THEY did this.

We need alternative information to grow. As a recently retired boomer (who has never watched FOX - that was my mother) I’m of course worried about Social Security and my retirement savings to get us through. That is many of our realities today.

There is also a lack of leadership. I mean LEADership. People in authority are *saying* it’s a crisis, but acting as though it’s business as usual. Nobody is willing to make the move that proves stopping the regime is worth risk and potential sacrifice. It can’t be too ‘serious’ if no one is acting.
