- Life in prison is not "vacation". And as I said, if you are in favor of executing the guilty then you are also in favor of executing the occasional innocent. Until we have an infallible criminal justice system, there is absolutely no way around that. And no such perfect system will ever be possible.
- They are not but if you are found to have raped and murdered dozens of children I believe you have forfeited your right to live. Actions should have consequences.
- Yes, and that consequence must be life in prison without the possibility of parole. Because if the consequence is execution, that means there is a 100% certainty that at some point an innocent, wrongly convicted person will also be executed. And in any civilized society, that is 100% unacceptable.
- Nah there are times when the death penalty is necessary. Of course it must be used extremely sparingly and in the most egregious circumstances. You will try to argue that a case can be improperly adjudicated. Well that’s what the appeals process is for.
- The appeals process is also imperfect. If the death penalty is allowed, there is NO doubt that some innocent people will be executed. You're saying that there is some number of innocent people being executed that is acceptable as the cost of executing all the guilty people. And that is wrong.

- I totally agree, I believe we were not meant to take the life of another individual. I hate wars, where needless people die bc 2 old men, usually, sitting behind a desk are mad at each other, & they make insinuating comments, or accusations toward each other, & then young soldiers/civilians die
- I believe that anyone who intentionally takes the life of another person, for any reason other than self defense, absolutely deserves to lose their own life. But if the price of executing a million murderers who deserve to die is a single innocent person being executed, that price is far too high.
