- Here in California building codes demand alternative energy or other efficiency upgrades on all new construction, including mobile/prefabricated manufactured homes.
- We need to stop building identikit housing. More density but done with a fabric first approach and using decent design instead of the rabbit hutch “executive home” approach. Building companies are lazy and greedy. I doubt many new homes meet even the current building regs.
