Anachronox 2 first please.
I've never understood why Anachronox is, like, a lesser-known, sleeper game.
It was a fully featured turn-based RPG, made exclusively for the PC, with great graphics & gameplay, and some really quirky and hilarious writing.
And it had BASICALLY ZERO COMPETITION, AT THAT TIME.
But it's forgotten.
Turns out nobody really wanted to play a JRPG-style game on PC, I guess? Same fate for every other 90s game that tried, and that includes even FFVII itself.
As I recall a lot of FFVII's problem was that the PC port was garbage
I wouldn't call it garbage. It just could have been better.
