Don Sheldon
My family revitalizes abandoned homes, maintains them, and rents them fairly. I'm very proud of our work.
We also play games of all descriptions, especially on a table.
I like math and science most, but am interested in everything.

- Apparently, and I'm not saying this myself, but it's against the law* to write "86 47." That's right, if you write "86 47," they send the FBI and SS after you. (SS means Secret Service, not what I originally thought it meant.) Just for writing "86 47"! Which, again, I'm not saying.

- Everybody had the same initial response, exactly the same one you're thinking, and that is an extra layer of painfully hilarious 😂. Ha... we're all gonna die ☠️.
- As absolute maximum profit continues to dominate the thinking of every business, we will need more and more for government to fill in the gaps. It's not ideal. I'd prefer to live in a country where business has at least the vaguest sense of morality. But we don't live there, do we?
- Turns about that when you write executive orders that amount to "be racist" most judges (not all, sadly) will make you stop.
- Today the supreme Court decides if "anyone born in the United States is a citizen of the United States" actually means "anyone born in the United States is a citizen of the United States" or if it secretly means something else according to the ghost of George Washington whom only they can hear.

- Reposted by Don Sheldonso the members of congress just stopped going to el salvador and not a single person who was illegally sent there has been returned and that’s just how it is now?
- If I were a senator I'd have a team of lawyers compiling a list of all of Trump's impeachable acts. I'd send it to every newspaper and tv news show. I'd read it into the Congressional record. I'd file those impeachment papers daily. It will do nothing. At first. Y'all'd be sick of me.
- Yeah, this system, and many like it, need to be illegal. Or at least overseen by judges issuing warrants. I don't feel secure in my person and effects with this just out there.
- Trying to succinctly express how different this action is from, say, January 6th, because there will be people trying to equate them. I think I got it. This is "all people deserve to be cared for," that was "no, everyone has to do what I say because I say so." One for policy, the other for power.
- Reposted by Don SheldonLittle known fact that Grover Cleveland used to ride around the world in the Statue of Liberty and have sensitive national security discussions inside it, before taking possession of it himself after he left office.
- What cruel god would make a person capable of waking up before their alarm but still be tired?
- Reposted by Don SheldonIf you try to beat conservatives only by debating them on policy, it frames the nature of the fight as a policy disagreement, hiding the real problem, which is that—behind the endless parade of bullshit they use to obscure this fact—they are cruel bullies w/strange hang-ups and violent intentions.

- Billionaires aren't Americans. When you have that much money borders disappear. The cooperation that makes a people a country goes away and everyone and everything is just another product for sale. Rivers, forests, people. Are all only things, and they want to own, use up, and discard them.
- This is how we celebrate good news in this house.
