- Perfect!! That's a beautiful blue for this shawl.
- @morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social @steverattner.bsky.social Steve Rattner's Charts segment was LIT 🔥🔥🔥 He hit a rare goal: bring something new to the discussion. And since I take a new biologic medication, that was great too. Thank you! SR: keep 'em coming!!

- Is this one sock knitting toe up, the 2nd sock knitting cuff down. Lifelines inserted for Afterthought heels. And on the top of cuff (bind off or cast on), run 2 lifelines on 2 successive rows. Then work the heels, and bind off at the tops of the cuffs? Looks cool.

- Armchair traveling is so great!! Love the idea of an armchair traveler journal- with stickers!
- "Everyone's afraid that there’s going to come a point in time where you don’t know where one agency stops & the next begins," said the former ombudsman for the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which cares for immigrant kids, about its growing collaboration w/ ICE www.propublica.org/article/offi...

- prospect.org/culture/book... cites sources where Biden is urging Kamala run on his accomplishments. Other authors, in their books, have complained that Biden wanted Harris to promote his legacy, which prevented her from talking about what she would have done differently- in a change election.
- This is me and my friend Dom in our orphanage. I am slouched and Dom is to my right. We were inseparable until I left in 1961. We led separate lives until 2024, when we rediscovered each other and renewed our friendship. Dom just passed. RIP my Brother.
- My deepest condolences on your passing of your friend, who was a profound part of your life..your reconnecting must have been a great blessing and comfort to you both.

- I wonder if she would have won, if only Biden had let her run her own campaign.

- Never seen a ring used before. I sometimes carry the 2 strands on my finger like that (IM usually a thrower and adapt that for the same 2 threads on a finger approach). The ring looks very helpful!

- Turning lawns into meadows can have big benefits for people, wildlife, and the climate. "It's a mental health booster. You look out your window in the spring, summer, fall, and almost every day, it's changing and it's beautiful." #ClimateSky www.bbc.com/future/artic...

- We sort of backed ourselves into this one year when my husband and I both had very limited mobility. The backyard grew up into a thigh high "meadow." Eventually even the dogs had enough of it. It was pretty and fun until it wasn't. We hired a temporary yard man who's now on permanent status 😂😂🤣

- This would be cozy to wear while knitting.
- That's $399 and change. For wood - and outrageous and thanks to Trump's tariff tax, probably buys a single 2x4. For wool - sounds like a nice sweater :) 😀
- Snakes. Predation on the bunny rabbit nests. And mice. Fleas. This might be great in the UK but in the southeastern US....it's a beautiful problem factory.

- Let me guess the name of this pattern: Cable Insanity? LOLL
- @abbaetha.bsky.social My Ravelry queue is too short. Send pattern suggestions.
- Why is ICE wearing masks? What are they hiding? The Mayor of Newark was arrested at an ICE facility—when elected officials showed up, masked agents roughed them up, including an 80-year-old congresswoman. Why?!
- Some of the ICE officers have big veggies hanging out there. Are these the extremist militia members or real, sworn and certified ICE officers?

- White. Chocolate.cream.cheese icing. Is that what you said? On chocolate cake? This might be my birthday cake this year.
- Just found this wonderful channel! Very well done, polished. No excessive yakyak, holds your attention, extreme clarity in teaching.
- Today at #AHAPerspectives, Mary Ann Mahony writes about training students in genealogy and family history methods. 🗃️
- Fantastic article. My own family was astonished at the discoveries made by two cousins and myself. And without the historical understanding of time and place, it's hard to get beyond the begat list, as discussed. From a tiny fact or courthouse record, a giant oak tree grows.
- Orlando City Commissioner Tony Ortiz just switched from Republican to Democratic. “The Republican Party is not the party I signed up with... The marginalization of Latinos and immigrants—many of whom have helped build this country—is not leadership. It’s fear-based politics.”
- I think there are quite a few of these Republicans. Just yesterday I was listening to one tell me how Suzy Wiles is going to be a guardrail for 🍊, and attributing complex strategic thinking to him. I stuck a pin in it and left unsure as to whether he was suddenly sickened by me or by reality.

- The creativity is jaw dropping! Beautiful! So much fun to look at!
- Frogged everything I’ve knitted so far since yesterday as I wasn’t happy with it. Just casting on another pattern. Sat in the sun in my garden knitting - bliss! 🧶 #knit
- Sometimes the wisest option is a giant frog party. 🤪 Followed by a nice cup of tea and a cookie, and start of the next project or idea on the queue. Keeping your Zen in the garden. 🙂

- I’m really only just getting into it but I genuinely love birding as a hobby. The entire goal is to look at the bird. Is there a bird? There is a bird! Look at the bird! If you are very keen you can learn what to call the bird so that you can properly thank it for the joy you feel when you see it. 🪶
- Extra credit for getting a sharply focused picture of the bird.
- This picture of you is cool as fuck
- She's flashing the peace sign with both hands!! This is not her first protest!! #WatchAndLearn
