View full threadI think it has colonised in the Bristol area now. Yes the Guernsey moth-ers were very welcoming and it was one of the best places I have ever trapped in!
- You'll have to pay us another visit. Andy Marquis now has a serious generator (I think following your visit) which we put to very good use on Monday night for the annual Bioblitz.
- Very nice, I’m ever hopeful of a Spiny Hook-tip crossing the water but nothing yet. When you get the right wind you get some incredible mothing on the island.
- I think there have been a couple of Spiny Hook-tip records in the south of England - Dorset? It may have grabbed a lift on the ferry! We have some very good mothers who encourage enthusiastic improvers, like myself.🙂
- A smart White Ermine, Tawny Shears and Lychnis helped move the moth trap total up to 41 of 13 species. Things are improving slowly. VC 113 #Guernsey #teammoth #mothsmatter
- Heathland Bird Survey for @btobirds.bsky.social at Le Gouffre, #Guernsey this morning. Beautiful but quiet - no survey birds except fo a Linnet.🇬🇬
