- The only thing I ever begrudge rich people (as far as I’m concerned that’s anyone 1M/yr+) is for not paying taxes. Idkw people forgot that taxes pay back into the system. It’s all ass-backwards. People earning 400K and way less who should get the break when $$ is so concentrated at the top 10% 😡
- I had to have a big argument with my mom because my husband won't be joining me when I go to the states for my cousin's wedding this summer. He has an Arabic name, he's not a US citizen - it's just not safe for him anymore. But it's hard for her white lady brain to grok how bad things have gotten.
