- The atlanticist social contract says that rich white men are the most smart and the most Good and everyone else has to recognise and appreciate that and do what they're told, and they're very fed up that so many people keep refusing to comply.
- The people who speak for The People mostly just talk to each other. That's how they become so disconnected from the material reality of so many people's lives. They have the privilege to be able to ignore anything that contradicts their preferred narrative.
