- the thing thing about the admonition to “not take the bait” is that while it makes sense in the context of an election — where you are trying to communicate a narrow set of ideas broadly — it does not make sense in the context of “how do we make this president as unpopular as possible”
- But the bigger issue is the Tax bill that will hurt 12.5 million Americans not the bribes he's getting
