- Tonight’s batch of temporary foster kittens on hold for a Super Furiends foster.
- Generally very stressed out about what to do with the rescue. Tariffs have affected prices on supplies and food and veterinary care (everything in the clinic comes from other countries- medication, syringes, etc) and I don’t feel comfortable asking for donations when everyone else is also struggling
- Most people are already aware of my feelings on free roaming cats, but if you have a white cat you seriously need to keep it inside. Every year I see a parade of crinkle-eared white cats with skin cancer and I am very tired.
- Picked these two up from the shelter today to hold for Super Furiends until their foster got off work. We have quarantine kennels in the garage and they’re perfect for temporary holding and quarantine, so we help Super Furiends out any time they need somewhere to temporarily stash a kitten or two. 😂

- After finding placement for the cat in Tulare I took a kitten in for Super Furiends with the intent of handling quarantine for them. Unfortunately she was declining and we decided that it would be best to get her to a foster with an incubator. She’s doing much better now!
- Yesterday was spent finding emergency rescue placement for a cat a few hours south of us. We were contacted by a kind man whom we helped with a cat a few years back, and while I don’t have the time right now for an emergency case, I managed to get her in at Kirkland Foundation for him.

- Everything has been going really well so I am pleased to announce that our wobbly cat Charcoal will be going home Saturday on a foster to adopt contract! She has fairly severe cerebellar hypoplasia and has been waiting for her forever home for two years. 🥹

- We just got a really good application in for a cat that has been waiting for over a year and has had zero applications in general and I don’t want to say too much about it because I’m afraid I’ll jinx it. But I will absolutely cry if this cat actually gets adopted omg 🥹
- After finishing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle I picked up Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West and now I’m 100% done with the former and 75% with the latter (playing through Burning Shores) and I did NOT expect to love these games this much. They’re so good.

- Chewy doesn’t always tell you who makes donations- but I need whoever did this to know that it absolutely came at the right time. We’ve been really worried about rising costs affecting our ability to run the rescue, and also hesitant to ask for donations due to same thing.
