- Moderates and pro-EU folks have been terribly complacent with the “it’ll all be fine when the old folks die”, because the kids will all be liberal, globalist left wingers. Nope. A friend’s secondary held a GE. Five years as constituencies. Ref won two. Second in the other three. Boys, mostly.
- I suspect this is largely rebellion against the progressivism of the past decade. The left/liberals find this disconcerting because suddenly the rebellion is against their values. They haven't grasped that they've become "the establishment".
