Incredibly delighted to say that they are no longer forgotten! There are now undead Stromics in Hammerfall.
It's amazing seeing this responded to so quickly, and done in a way that explains what's happened to them since Legion. I really, really love this.
I think my biggest personal critique of the 11.1.7 Stromgarde story is... did we really forget about the undead *again*?
It's wild that Undead vs Humans was the defining Arathi story for 15 years, and then it's just entirely wiped from the game after Legion.
