- Just to be clear: accepting a $400m gift from Qatar is illegal and completely corrupt. The fact that the Attorney General who signed off on this is a former lobbyist for Qatar is also outrageous. We need to start enforcing the rule of law again in this country.
- But no one has had to pay for their actions in the upper echelons of society for a long time, that is the problem. There has been so much ignoring crime in government, with the wealthy, that they don't think the law matters....and for them, it doesn't.
