- Listening to "The High Cost of Free Parking" by Donald Shoup, published in 2005. Got to a part where he talks about Circle Center Mall succeeding and thriving, despite skepticism over paid $1.50 parking. I don't think the parking is what did it in, but this passage was certainly a sign of the era.
