The Trump administration is patently breaking the law, trying to use the Alien Enemies Act to deport people without due process. Americans reject this. The courts are taking them to task. We won’t stop fighting for our Constitution.

But have you tried actually fighting, though? Like… aren’t most of you former lawyers or law professors? Why aren’t you out there finding legal precedent to tear down these power grabs? Or finding legislative loopholes to exploit in response? JEBUS H RICE PLEASE DO SOMETHING

Just take a quick gander at the sorts of things McConnel did during Obama. It is a great primer. Refuse unanimous consent, Request voice votes. Confirm no one. Filibuster. Refuse cloture. Endless debate on every motion, which is allowed. This is not rocket science. Civics classes for all!
