- Since it’s mother’s day, it’s apt to mention my mother’s favorite Star Trek character was Luaxana Troi. Like from “Haven” onward. And “Half a Life” was her favorite episode. Luaxana was one of many reasons TNG captured such a wide, diverse audience in a way no other Trek show has since. #TNGSunNight
