- The cosmic ray exposure age estimates of the returned Bennu samples indicates they were exposed to ionizing radiation for a few million years, even though rock itself is ~4.5 billion years old. So, the total radiation dose was not high enough to completely destroy the organics.

- If indeed the early solar system did contain an equal mixture of left and right handed amino acids like we are seeing in Bennu, this bodes very well for using chirality as a biosignature. Less chance of a false positive and possible we could find life of the opposite handedness as life on Earth.
