For the customer it guarantees your shop will have a copy for you, and many shops ONLY order their pre-order amounts. For creators, it lets publishers know how much interest there is in firm numbers.

- This is very sad news. Butch drew the first couple of issues I wrote for Marvel and I always thought I lucked out considerably with that. His storytelling choices elevated everything. Condolences to his friends and his loved ones. RIP.

Marches are one thing but MPs getting lots of emails from their constituents and having to answer awkward questions will have an ever greater impact.
