- Yesterday, Secretary Noem used people as props for the Trump admin's latest media spectacle. The Salvadoran prison is used as a tool of propaganda with the core objective to dehumanize and villainize people while carrying out their cruel mass detention and deportation agenda unchecked.
- The Trump’s regime continued targeting of activists is an attempt to silence political opposition. The arrest and detention of activist Jeanette Vizguerra is another example of the rise of authoritarianism under this administration. ✒️Demand Jeanette’s freedom: secure.afsc.org/a/freejeanette

- 📣 GEO Group is reopening a shuttered Michigan prison as an ICE detention center—one of the largest in the country. As part of Trump’s plan to triple detention, they stand to profit $70M a year off people’s lives and a community that has been forced to rely on a carceral economy.

- This is it. Period. Remember: - Immigrants in detention can be undocumented or documented immigrants, including people whose immigration status is not current, expired or is under review. The immigration detention system is fundamentally inhumane and unjust.
- The alarming return of family detention, a policy that was widely condemned and has been dormant for four years, is yet another layer of the Trump administration’s unprecedented and cruel expansion of immigration detention, that if fully realized will triple the current detention system.
- Trump’s address should spark a rallying cry for everyone to unite for the rights & dignity of all people. Immigrants are vital & valued members of our communities and we demand elected leaders vehemently & vocally reject the admin’s hateful attacks. Read our full statement: bit.ly/41tRjCY
