- Reposted by DesertHarperWent to a "Boozy Book Fair" today and discovered a new indie book store an hour drive away. Also spoke to the owner of the one I went to for Independent Bookstore Day. Their shelves were so empty at the end they had to spend 5k to restock. I love my local book scene. ❤️ #booksky
- artists/photographers/etc: The alt txt is a place to describe your image, not just put a copyright notice. That's useless to the person who needs the alt txt.
- Oh, he wants to *argue* now. No, you're not worth any more of my time. I'm well aware AS AN ARTIST who has volunteered in a gallery what security measures are available. He also thinks all "physical barriers are interferences". LOL We'll just do away with glass cases for sculptures, then? Asshole.
- LOL I got a second mansplain from a different person that Rothko wanted people to see his stuff up close. HAHAHAHA I replied that he's dead and the museum gets to set the rules now. Mansplaining doesn't work on me, honey, I'm too old to hold back.
- LOL I just got mansplained that art in a museum tends to be hung on walls. Did you know that? Wow, today I learned! Never would have known that from all the museums I've been in. Amazing. Much wow. Blew me away.
