- The loss of Snow and Ice products from NSIDC will be a huge blow to polar science. Everything from understanding ecosystem dynamics, air-sea gas exchange, carbon uptake, changing ocean dynamics will be impacted. nsidc.org/data/user-re... . Just an astonishing level of forced ignorance.
