- the dismantling of (cross-disciplinary) studies of liberation reminds me of Sylvia Wynter’s invitation to think about academic work that has and can radically shift our present system of knowledge. pedagogy can foster rebellion. research has the capacity to undo harm and learn about resistance.
- as representations of black humanity are be taken up and pulled down to align with the desires of the fascistic nation-state—fungibility writ large—I am glad thick and deep and unrepresentable (and offline) modes of black life persist. some things cannot be deleted, stolen, kicked, reupholstered.

- critiquing nationalism and nation because they are married to and require brutal exclusions and empire and dispossession by accumulation.
- I’m trying to stay on course but folks are cheering Ford and Trudeau, which is fine, no judgement, but it’s an upside down world for some of us, lol. It obfuscates so much harm done in Canada. Fascism is truly all encompassing.
