- Wow. I had one call me a few weeks ago on my landline and have no idea how they got that number. (And still not sure why we have a landline. Husband not willing to give it up, LOL.)

- With my latest book—WIND IS A DANCE–I hand out ribbons before the reading and as a group we move the ribbons like the wind moves in each page spread.
- My rhyming NF animal adaptation books FREAKY, FUNKY FISH and PECULIAR PRIMATES have a lot of action that I have the kids do when I read them aloud, like climbing, inflating, shaking and swatting, thumping, etc. I give them a run through of a few actions that we practice before I read.

- I was under the impression that you can deactivate your account for 30 days, then if you don't go back in, it gets deleted. So I deactivated mine on 11/12. So I'm assuming it's deleted by now, but don't feel like going in to double check.

- There is so much truth in this thread. My first published picture book, FREAKY, FUNKY FISH was at least the 15th picture book I wrote and the fifth one my first agent subbed. But every manuscript I wrote taught me something, even if they never were published.
