Do you find it endearing when someone lies about how long a ZX Spectrum took to load a game?
I reckon they were either too stupid to adjust the volume or heads on the obviously badly set up tape deck or just someone who likes to lie to fit in.
BTW, 2 cables, not three and an average of 4 minutes
The only games I can remember taking longer than a few minutes were Ocean’s later titles like Robocop 2, which still only took about 10 minutes, which was just enough time to nip downstairs, boil the kettle, make a cuppa, grab some rich tea biscuits and come back for the game just finishing loading!
