- Reposted by Damien C-CThe U.S. elevator cost is a factor here. Senior-friendly buildings need to be stair/step free. Build high enough so the elevator cost pencils out = neighbors get mad about it. (I don’t trust *these* Feds to deregulate the building code, tho.)

Now, instead of feeling alone, I have a family of sisters in grief, who I connect with each year around this time. It is a sad sisterhood but a sisterhood nonetheless.
