- Sulzberger claims that his job is to tell truth, let others construct narratives from that truth he unleashes on US. But (1) in his desire to appear balanced, NYT has prioritized "covering Trump's successes & achievements and exploring his support across a large and diverse swath of the country."
- In @nytopinion.nytimes.com “Across the world, we’ve seen democracy in retreat,” writes A.G. Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times. “This anti-press playbook is now being used here in this country — and it could not come at a more difficult time for the American press.”
- Very telling he praises access & equates constant need for attention & an audience used to spread lies as 'transparency' while claiming it's Biden *and his supporters* who've attacked the press. That may the 1st time NYT ever acknowledged Dem voters exist & Biden does have supporters.
- “Sulzberger claims that his job is to tell truth, let others construct narratives from that truth.” lol. If you can’t lie with the truth, you’re a really poor writer, lawyer, philosopher, politician, etc. Sulzberger knows he’s facilitating the lying. He cares about ‘the press,’ not democracy.
