The Chicago Department of Transportation is launching a series of bike/scooter parking corrals in Wrigleyville to address event day clutter & sidewalk blockages. Added bonus is that the bike racks will be permanent & are mostly in daylight zones + serving as defacto curb bump outs! 1/4
These two bike/scooter corrals on Clark Street in Wrigleyville will help reduce clutter & keep sidewalks clear during events at Wrigley Field & during the busiest days! Added bonus is that they'll slow down vehicles & reduce conflicts with pedestrians/cyclists.
CDOT has been using bike/scooter parking & Divvy stations to create curb bump outs & reduce the turn radius for vehicles. These two in Wrigleyville will help reduce clutter & keep sidewalks clear during events at Wrigley Field + provide residents/visitors with bike/scooter parking year round!
I hope that’s your Divvy you took to all those sites 😉
