- People are piling on here, but the guy is both right and wrong. It is true that 1/5 of German voters are quite likely Nazi sympathizers with no excuse. But it is also true that not finding a way to honestly talk about illiberalism in minority communities will drive more people into fascist spaces.
- One-fifth of German voters now support a party that all others consider too extreme to govern with. I don't believe one-fifth of Germans are fascist/racist/any other -ist, but they are concerned.
