Canadians will vote tomorrow in the most emotional election since 1988. I have my own preference. But I note: no one doubts that the vote will be free and fair - or that the loser will peacefully accept the voters' decision. That may not sound much. It's more than others have.

Some Canadians may grumble about who wins through the vote, but I’ve not heard the cries of “stolen race”.
As an American, it’s terrifying how so much of what is being posted in Canada sounds exactly like us last fall. We HAVE to all fight for democracy and freedom from these monsters! If Canada falls, it’s bad news for everyone!!!
We may get away with it this time but its dangerous to imagine we won't see a maga style aberration in a few years
Ultimately the neoliberal recipe needs meaningful adjustment or we'll keep seeing more of this
