- Ironically, the guy who played Partigas would have been an amazing Tarkin. He looks like he came straight from a Hammer set in 1970.
- Watched the 1954 version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea again, for a thing I’m working on. I was struck by how morally grey the whole thing is. I would never call it sophisticated, but… it’s a Disney kids film with no real hero and a compelling anti-hero. 1/?
