One small but cool thing I noticed at FWA is hearing folks asking for bluesky handles, not Twitter/X. I will say that this platform does indeed feel quite active, but hearing people asking for handles in person is a milestone.
I am at the most irritating part of this con crud where the fevers are gone but there is this ever-present feeling of phlegm in my throat that just won't loosen up, leading me into ceaseless coughing fits.
Sick days, even mental health days, should never count toward your PTO.
So long FWA. Was a great weekend. Struggled with a severe dopamine drop on Saturday for no reason, but the rest of the weekend was a hugely positive experience. I'm so lucky to have such excellent folks in my life!
