Slavery still exists in too many countries outside of Western Civilization.

So many reasons to show that America was never really great. What constitutes great was never this. Great is when ALL people are uplifted, supported, celebrated and safe. This should be the goal of Greatness.

They should be paid for work. They should pay for the food they eat,and for any other expense. If a rapist or murderer gets to not work, watch tv, get free cooked meals and free healthcare while reading books or "finding god" I get really aggravated.

Modern slavery. I know they are convicted criminals under US Judicial system and they have always required work rehabilitation, but (a) this is ultimate humiliation & unlikely to rehabilitate them (b) there should be some some reward for productivity. Otherwise they are slaves.
