- "Detach Quote" is one of the best Bluesky features. . When someone quoted your post do dunk on you - tap "..." in your quoted post, and select "Detach Quote." It will be removed from the quote, and the would be dunker will look like a moron.

- i've listened to 3 of these ai books. they're _terrible_. but they're free for members. so i only lost time not money. the second that audible makes you pay for shit fake narrators reading books is the second i'm gone.

- and the literal only reason i'm not gone already is because the book series that i really enjoy is up to book 21. alternative places like libro.fm and audiobooks.com have available of that same series book 5 and 4 respectively. the series has been going on since december 2021.
- it's a compromise i know. but i have had to make a lot of compromises with companies i really would not want to spend money on. it's damage limitation on my part.

- the only problem that I have with libro is that there's an ongoing series that I'm listening to that is currently up to book 21 in published audio on audible but book 5 on libro, and it started in december 2021. if it were current with audible I'd jump today.

- having listened to 3 if these ai read books, the quality of narration is the same as the tiktok narration, which is to say awful and jarring and hard to listen to. right now the ai books are free as long as they stay that way I'm fine with it. my credits are only going towards human read hooks.

- I've listened to a few of those ai books. they were free for me so it's not a loss to me. except my time. and these ai read books are _bad_. it's so obvious that no one did any qc work on them, it's embarrassing they released them. you are most definitely getting what you paid for.
