I know Great Barrington well and it is extremely hard to imagine any scenario on this earth in this small town that would require cops to roll out like they're going to war.
Think you're really on to something here. They literally appear to have no uniform or standard visuals or suiting for doing enforcement actions. And there's a high overlap with just middle aged guy tactical weekend git up.
They are all feds. Please stop saying they are not or suggesting it. It is dangerous for people to think they are not law enforcement & just cosplaying militia. They are real feds.
I agree it is dangerous, which is why they should clearly show their badges and faces and look like normal law enforcement.
