Exactly, and the fact they think its not scientific. Sorry, my dude, but *everything* invovling how the brain works and how the differences in the workings of the brains of two people can be more vast than the oceans is almost nothing but science.
Your Science is not what Scientists use. We can claim buying furniture is atomic level physics -t is. Those chairs are not what they appear - the are molecules and atoms and light bouncing off of them to fool you into thinking "just a chair".

So while medical and neuro scientists might not use the specific word "neurodiversity" or derivations thereof, they do use words like autism and adhd. Neurodiversity + neurospicy are just laymen catchall terms..
I would have 100% been classified....ADD, etc. - as I am nearly genius IQ and flunked out of high school. I couldn't keep my eyes open in chemistry. I figured out the math in my head so flunked - teacher wanted to know how I did it. I got in trouble constantly - dropped out.....more....
And yet, I ended up as one of the most successful of my peers in most every way, from a 52 year long marriage to founder of numerous businesses and so on. Would this have happened if I were "cured" with Amphetamines and Classified? My guess is no- which is why some teens are now fighting back.
