Consequences for planned murder are severe. This is a felony. He was arrested in possession of the murder weapon “allegedly”. Having read the charges, they are not political. How he is treated in the media seems to be.
Apr 2, 2025 21:01And all of the other folks that have allegedly done the same in the state of NY face the severity of punishment proscribed by NY law, not the federal death penalty. The wealth of the victim shouldn’t dictate more severe penalties.
Am not a prosecutor but do know that there are crimes that are defined as federal by legal perimeters and statutes. Just claiming it won’t stand. This definition will be challenged in court and has to be proven beyond doubt. I believe, over all, judges in the NY district get things right.
