- #CBF hiring a foreign coach for the first time in their history. It was initially discussed some time ago whilst Ancelotti was still at #RealMadrid, but now a deal has been done. It'll be interesting to gauge the reaction of both Real and #Brazil fans.

- I think Real fans will accept it, as it's their first trophy-less season in ages. But also eternal respect for Ancelotti. Brazil fans will surely just love a manager of his calibre coming in? They've not been flushed with success in recent years.
- Although, rather sadly, a big part of that is they now actually coach in a more European style, so they can sell their academy talent for more money, as they are effectively ready "off-the-shelf." It's why we see less of the beautiful "ginga" football now.May 12, 2025 18:46
