I don't even know what I complain about anymore, may or may not be an actual cat. I paint models every other blue moon. Opfor is Bestfor.
- I'm glad the Alien franchise pivoted from "we need the Xenomorph to make a bioweapon" to "we need the Xenomorph to solve disease" because there's only so many times a bioweapon experiment can go wrong before you start wondering why they keep bothering
- Movin' on and reading through The Stranger and I can't decide if Meursault is either a psychopath or deeply autistic Either way, this philosophy is FUBAR

- One vote from me for the former because I have 0 idea what a boogaloo boy even is

- 08th, Stardust Memories and War in the Pocket take place between 0079 and Zeta, so if you missed any then may as well watch em after you get done with Zeta
- I mean I still get bad episodes every so often but comparatively I'm nowhere near as depressed as I was back then
- All caught up with GQux now, pretty inoffensive since I'm having a good time but nothing's wowed me yet. Still a chance for that since it's not even halfway through atm (I think? Is this a 15 ep. series or a 2 season one?) As a series about Gundam dueling it still blows Gwitch out of the water tho

- Would make sense since it seems to be going at quite a fast clip
- Good samaritan suddenly has somewhere else to be when I scream out that whoever calls an ambulence for me has to pay for it
- I'd be remiss to not have a Crusader in my Red Hunter forces, considering Thunder Rift's story. A fire support lance for both the old and new Red Hunters. #battletech
- I got a fair bit of the TRO 3025 mechs in my Red Hunters force by now, so that means I oddly have 2 Drac forces and only 1 CapCon one. The Combine ain't even my favorite faction, how did I get here?

- I'm glad IWM was getting their business but at the same time I don't get why BTtwitter thought they were "sending a message" by doing so with em instead of CGL. Wouldn't Topps (or whoevers at the top) see BT was doing fine either way and let things continue like normal?
- You ever wonder where your inner reading voices came from? The ones you assign to Male Character A, Female Character B, etc. whenever you're reading a book? Your inner monologue is home-grown but the rest're probably from movies or people on the street, but where and who exactly?

- Pewter is hell to work with but I'm glad the BT brand is still keeping it alive for old time's sake. One thing I'm curious about is that I know BT's licensing rights is all over the place, does the IWM buyout mean anything in that regard or nah?

- R-2 might be neat, but marksman rifles were never really my thing. Most looking forward to the grenade and especially that sample scouter
- Windows: Hey, making sure it's you, can you enter your passcode again? Me: No fuck off Windows: Okay, yay! :) I'm both glad and concerned that it's that easy to dismiss that prompt
- Strange that the Tbolt NAIS alt head has an indent for a skylight, must be a misprint cus only the OG is supposed to have that! :)
- There is no place in the universe with a higher concentration of blistering stupidity than in the comments section under a news article
- Finished starship Trooper, it's neat as a look into the military mentality (circa WW2) and a good reference if you're writing any military fiction but gotdam is it blunt, kinda like Moby Dick and Atlas Shrugged it's a textbook thinly disguising itself as a "story"

- Having the Scorps merge with the Romaboos is a fantastic choice, though it must've been one hell of a trip to get all the way down there
- Oh shit, they're making a film outta The Long Walk? Nice, that was my second favorite Bachman book Do Roadwork next
- In better news, the Discover tab has finally decided to show me more Gundam accounts which is The Good Shit I really should get around to watching the newest series too.
- Ain't no fucking way Thunderbolts is about actual depression instead of pop psychology depression, there's no way a Marvel movie is even remotely nuanced enough to deal with that topic, I refuse to believe you people
- One aspect of far future sci-fi I find really funny is that living on Earth is always a 50/50 chance of either A.) Living in the next Eden and the figurative center of the universe or B.) Living in a desolate shithole everyone with money abandoned the first chance they got
- Re-reading Starship Troopers (because the last time was forever ago and it all flew right over teenage me's head,) I'm glad the term terraforming caught on instead of terranizing, sounds more natural and less like we're torturing a planet

- I'll never tell, keeps the suspense that way
- Due to the Knights of Avarice's scorn for the FedCom and the IS, they inevitably ventured out into the periphery and ended up pledging for the Marians as they were, according to the CO, "the most brutally honest state in existence." A heavy lance for one of my merc forces. #battletech

- The barrels are pretty simple, just Eshin Grey and then edge highlighted with Uniform Grey. If you're talking about the laser lenses, those're pretty simple too: an O in a primary color, a brighter color on the bottom right curve, white on the top left, and a small white curve in the bottom right

- Faction you felt got done the dirtiest by the narrative?
- Who the fuck do I need to kill to have the discover tab's "show me less of this" button actually work

- I haven't watched any of Gqux but after reading this and looking up his art I'm guessing he's gonna turn out to be some sorta Scirocco?
- Sometimes I wish there was a game that was deep and interesting enough for me to geek out about with other players for awhile Elden Ring was like that for a tiny bit, until the Loretubers solved pretty much fuckin' everything within a week
- MMOs could fit the bill but not only is their gameplay almost always incredibly boring for me but their stories + lore are ultimately rather shallow.
- Iunno when CGL is planning on releasing more of the ilClan era Grey Death Legion books but I hope it's soon, it's strange to have set up the Red Hunters as well and not yet have the two commands even so much as hear about the other

- They got annihilated/disbanded in the Civil War era but reformed in ilClan in the Tamar Rising sourcebook. Grayson's descendants tried staying loyal to the Lyrans when Regis went AWOL but the Lyrans didn't want em back cus they thought they were spies, so they're all back to the merc life
- Video essayists failing to pronounce a foreign name is an easy joke but my respect for them goes up tenfold when they immediately nail it and move on
- Enough art of people's dnd characters at high levels, show me art of dnd characters at level 1 when an oversized rat was enough to kick their ass

- With the amount of people who use Charisma as a dump stat there HAS to be at least a legion of ugly adventurers out there
- My only take on whatever's going on in Bri'ish politics today is that the "u" in "Labour" is still really goofy Lay-boor, instead of Lay-burr

- The books around the start of the Clan Invasion era had a lot of wonderfully moody art, def leagues better than the Succession War era art
- I should get a Task Force Boone set and paint them like the Colonial Marines
- Anytime I see that [x] is getting boycotted for [y] I assume that, in reality, it's playing out exactly like

- Or that Microsoft is (supposedly) being boycotted for some reason, meanwhile the Oblivion remaster's still doing insane numbers. It's all very performative.

- I mean, the Green Ghosts are already right there, it'd be very easy to finagle em as mechwarrior Outlaws targeting ritual sites that're trying to summon the next Black Marauder or w/e. Would certainly explain how the GG has a hodge-podge of IS/Clan/Blakist equipment.
- FUCK pull-starters, all my homies HATE pull-starters
- >Modern day AU fanart >Characters are dressed like fashion models I'm mean you're technically not wrong but also c'mon, man, you can ground things further than that

- See, now that's the good shit, NOW we're cookin with gas!
- From it's marketing, Weapons looks like it'll either be good or one of those movies that completely falls apart in the last 15 minutes
- Your plot gets one (1) free world-ending threat, two is pushing it so you better have a damn good excuse, and three or more will permanently take the entire thing into stupidtown
- Finally got around to playing Metro 2033 (very late to the party, I know) and I tried it both with and without hitmarkers and the difference in combat punchiness is wild I gotta say, hitmarkers're wonderful when enemies can't otherwise viscerally react like in, say, Killing Floor or Doom
- I still think without hitmarkers has it's merits though, while combat isn't as punchy it's instead a lot more desperate, so if you were going for full immersion survival mode then no hitmarkers is def the play
