View full threadShe wasn’t my mother… Biologically. She was my Aunt… and she was the best mom. She also died in July, it will be two years this summer.

- I hate to add to the list of people who are probably telling you it gets easier… Just know that the memories won’t hurt as much… And in a couple of years, you will laugh out loud at many of those happy memories. I am sending you love and support and please know that I see you. 💜
- Thank you. I went through this with my father in 2011, and I don't mind folks reminding me. :) It does help to hear it from others. It's just weird to be an orphan, even at my age.
- My mother passed away last February, so I have experienced the "firsts" without her... Mother's Day, her birthday, the holidays. Her granddaughter's college graduation. It sucks. Big hugs to you. 💜

- I used to have nightmares about getting a pet and forgetting to feed it. I have not had a single one of those dreams since getting Heater because there is not a chance in Hell she will let me forget breakfast.
- Anduin gets wet food, dry food, treats, and then snuggles with me when I'm working at my desk. If ANY of these are missed I get yelled at. Loudly, abrasively, and constantly. I adore him.
- No idea how this box is comfortable for him but he loves it.
- He is actually yelling at me to stop taking the picture, but he looks adorable. He yells a lot. xD Very demanding of his food, treats, and snuggles. Drives me crazy. I love him so muh-huh-huchhhh
