- Reposted by @cr_progressI love when people who say "Democrats should stop focusing on cultural issues and focus on kitchen table issues instead" elaborate what they mean by "kitchen table issues" and it's some convoluted tax credit scheme that no one will notice and then deregulating crypto.
- That last part is what matters. The tax on imported goods from China has tripled for no reason.
- Excellent NYT graphic. In the space of about 3 months, tariffs on China: -- doubled; -- went up ≈ 2.5X from there; -- roughly doubled again; -- went up ≈ 40% from there; -- and now have dropped ≈ 80% from the peak -- but are still 3X what they were in February. www.nytimes.com/article/trum...
